Inch Loss Challenge

Starting 2nd January and running til Monday 6th February 2012

After two weeks (perhaps longer for some) of seasonal excesses we invite you to join us in shaking up your fitness and burning some inches off your waistline at the same time.  Everyone is welcome to join in!  If you want to send your statistics to us, even if you are not a current client we will keep track of them for you and by returning to this blog you will get weekly tips and updates to help keep you on track.

ONE WEEK LEFT!  How is your resolve?  Are you exercising regularly?  Have you ditched the extra food and booze?   Are you feeling happier and more energised?  You should be noticing a little space around your waist line by now.  Up your water intake.  Avoid processed foods and sugars – keep your nutrition simple and aim to exercise every day.  Come on !  You can do this!  Make fitness a permanent part of your life and be in with a chance to win a fab sweatshop voucher.  Keep on track folks!

How to participate

On the  2nd January 2012  take the measurements listed in the tables below (in centimetres!)

Make exercise part of your life every day:

Adapt your nutrition as required to get back on track after the festivities

Re-measure yourself on Monday 6th February 2012 and re-submit the new statistics to us at info@ekuilibrium.com

WOMEN – in centimetres 2-1-12 6-2-12
1.Bust
(across nipple line)
2. Chest
(under breast)
3. Waist
(at belly button, stand naturally)
4. Hips
(widest point, about 1cm below pubic bone)
5. Thigh
(right – at widest point below bottom)
6. Thigh
(left – at widest point below bottom)
Total Centimetres  (1 to 6)    
Waist to Hip ratio (we will calculate this for you)    

 

MEN – in centimetres 2-1-12 6-2-12
1. Chest

(around adams apple)
3. Waist
(at belly button, stand naturally)
4. Hips
(widest point, about 1cm below pubic bone)
5. Thigh
(right – at widest point below bottom)
6. Thigh
(left – at widest point below bottom)
Total Centimetres  (1 to 6)    
Waist to Hip ratio (we will calculate this for you)    

When all the results are in we will reward the male and female client with the highest total ‘inch’ loss.  However to be eligible for the prize you must attend your designated personal training sessions/Bootcamp/RunClub every week during the 5 weeks  and also increase your activity level as above.

The reward for our highest losing male & female client will be a voucher to use at Sweatshop towards some ‘fitness kit’.

Everyone who participates will be a winner!  Or more importantly, you will be a loser, of ‘inches’, which will help to reduce your risk of lifestyle related diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.

We reserve the right to check your starting measurements 🙂  Please note we will NOT share your actual measurements with anyone: simply the success of the CENTIMETRES you lose over the 5 weeks.

Before you increase your current physical activity/exercise levels please ensure that you visit your GP if you are experiencing any symptoms of lifestyle diseases or have not exercised regularly for some time.  If you are not a current eKuiLibriuM client you must be over 18 to participate.
